A carnival backpack piece made for Belfast Mela to celebrate the art of mehndi/henna. This piece was created to be worn at carnivals and festivals to celebrate the beauty and significance of the artform of Mehndi.
Melaphants
Stilt walker costumes were inspired by the rich history of elephants as celebrated in Indian culture. They combine elements of puppetry and sculpture, and are brought to life by the talented performers Diane & Louise.
The Tuatha Dé Danann
As Amal’s journey in Belfast came to an end, we gathered in the grounds of Belfast Castle at Beann Mhadagáin to bid her farewell. Four characters created for Little Amal at Beann Mhadagáin.
