The Tuatha Dé Danann
Four characters created for Little Amal at Beann Mhadagáin.
As Amal’s journey in Belfast came to an end, we gathered in the grounds of Belfast Castle at Beann Mhadagáin to bid her farewell. There, she was met by four Tuatha Dé Danann; ancient deities of Ireland who reside in the otherworld. An Dagda, who came representing Earth. The Morrigan, who came representing Air. Bríd, who came representing Fire. And Manannán Mac Lir who came representing Water. In a ceremony of music fire and dance, they bestowed blessings on Amal, offering their powers of protection for her onward journey.
